Winter

February is winter break time and fastelavn season (Shrovetide) and DAC is filled with architectural experiences and fun activities for families.

In week 7 and 8 (February 10–25), you can enjoy an exciting program of activities. Explore the thought-provoking exhibition Water is Coming and visit our newest exhibition Nanna Ditzel: Breaking Free, which focuses on freedom and movement. Bring the children to So Danish! to learn how Danish architecture has evolved from the Viking Age to today. Kids can also come play in our LEGO Workshop or try their decorating skills in our fastelavn workshop, where we’ll be making classic Danish fastelavnsris.

Right now in DAC Café

This year’s Fastelavn bun at DAC Café is a delightful combination of creamy nougat, fresh orange, crunchy hazelnuts, and caramel with dates. A sweet temptation you don’t want to miss!
