About DAC
Danish Architecture Center (DAC) is Denmark’s national center for architecture.
We engage citizens and professionals in architecture to inspire development and transformation of the physical environment for people and for nature which we are all part of.
Foundation
We engage people in architecture to drive change! More people should understand, experience, and appreciate the potential of architecture in shaping a sustainable and resilient society.
We present architecture as both a profession and an art form, deeply woven into our culture and identity.
We stimulate public and private demand for solutions that advance broader societal agendas.

We define architecture as both a vital profession for society and a cultural art form, and we explore and communicate all its dimensions in our work.
Through exhibitions, guided tours, public and professional events, knowledge sharing, learning programs, as well as physical and digital networks, we create broad awareness of how architecture can contribute to urgent societal agendas. These include the green transition and the development of our built environment on every scale.
DAC’s activities span architecture’s past, present, and future, and reach citizens and professionals of all ages, nationally and internationally.
Danish Architecture Center is located in BLOX on Copenhagen’s waterfront and is part of Copenhagen Cultural District.
DAC’s strategy lays the foundation for engaging even more people in architecture to drive change.
We look forward to welcoming you to Danish Architecture Center!
