Culture Night at DAC
Experience Culture Night at DAC and discover the fascinating connection between nature and architecture. As part of the newly opened exhibition Age of Nature, you can embark on an architecture scavenger hunt with UV light, build imaginative LEGO® creations, design homes for wild creatures, or learn how to grow your own mushrooms. We’re filling DAC with nature-inspired activities for both children and adults.

Age of Nature is a sensory exhibition exploring the relationship between architecture, nature, people, and biodiversity – and posing the big question: How can architecture help us create a future where both nature and humans can thrive?
At Culture Night at DAC, we celebrate the newly opened exhibition with an evening full of play, creativity, and discoveries for the whole family.
Here’s what you can experience:
Go on a secret architecture hunt in the exhbition Age of Nature
What does architecture sound like? How does it feel? And can you play with it? Join a sensory journey through Age of Nature, where you’ll solve small tasks and explore how architecture can be seen, felt, heard – and experienced with your whole body. A fun and investigating activity for all ages, where nature and architecture merge.
Build a home for earthworms in clay – workshop
Come and join us as we build small, sustainable homes in clay for earthworms! Inspired by the Age of Nature exhibition, we shape houses that earthworms can live in when they are dug into the ground or used as compost. Earthworms are superheroes in the soil – they make it soft and full of life, so plants can grow and animals can thrive. Let’s create a good place for them to live together! The workshop is open to everyone.
Grow edible mushrooms with TagTomat
Grow delicious oyster mushrooms right on your kitchen counter! With TagTomat, you’ll learn how to transform coffee grounds and wood into edible mushrooms. You can prepare your own mushroom-growing kit to take home and keep cultivating after Culture Night.
Play LEGO® architect
Let your imagination run wild and build solutions for the city of the future! Pick a challenge card and create your vision for how nature and architecture come together. What does a city look like where people, animals, and mushrooms live side by side? The workshop is open to both children and adults eager to build sustainable cities full of life, play, and green ideas.
