Meet DAC at Folkemødet
Did you attend Folkemødet 2025? The Danish Architecture Center was present at several events throughout the festival.
We look forward to returning in 2026.
In 2025, we headed to the Sunshine Island to ask the question: Is a construction freeze social suicide—or a necessary climate measure? We explored what happens when neighborly relations start to creak—and why local communities matter so much. And it was both insightful and entertaining when Adrian Hughes hosted an architecture quiz focusing on the buildings of community.
Folkemødet is always held in week 24 in Allinge on Bornholm, and we will return with a new program in 2026.
